Scot Lewis
Scot is a seasoned banking professional with over 20 years of experience with regional banks and a mid-sized community bank. Most recently he served as a Commercial Real Estate Lender for a regional bank, where he was responsible for new loan origination, portfolio growth and on-going management, and overall risk assessment. In this role, he consistently exceeded production and portfolio growth goals, all while managing a $250 million loan portfolio. His other strengths include a deep understanding of underwriting, credit analysis, and complex financing structures. His additional experience includes performing as a business analyst in Deposits & Treasury Management and call center management experience.
Relevant Experience
- Led a “checks back” campaign to help reduce the number of customers receiving physical checks back with their checking account statement. This created cost savings of over $50,000 per year and allowed core efficiencies to be focused on improving customer experience in other areas of the bank.
- Member of an annual re-pricing team that increased Commercial Banking fee revenue by 3%, which at the time topped the $100 million revenue mark.
- Suggested and helped implement an organic deposit growth campaign. The effort was centered around the origination of employee accounts. The campaign led to a 4% increase in total deposits and an 8% increase in total average balances.
- Responsible for the organization and implementation of bank integration communications and training for Business customer focused Call Center
- Integrated paper communications to web-based communications displayed on the bank’s intranet Commercial Banking website. This integration helped decrease internal expenses by limiting paper copies and helped increase intranet site usage.
