Brett Rawls

Brett has been active the last 27 years in the financial services industry, having spent time at The Federal Reserve Bank, multiple correspondent and commercial bank environments, and consulting in the industry. He brings extensive leadership experience in high-growth financial services organizations, with a track record of driving key strategic initiatives, overseeing business operations, improving bottom line and facilitating change. As a correspondent banker, Brett has worked directly with over a thousand community financial institutions over the last ten years. Additionally, he has established and led Treasury Management and SBA departments; multiple specialty units, including cannabis-related banking, national deposits and loan participation/syndication desks; and helped create and become the first Chief Administrative Officer for a now-$60 billion plus southeastern-based bank.

Relevant Experience

  • Grew specialty portfolio to more than 500 accounts and over $2 million in fee income through new depository accounts, treasury management solutions, and lending accommodations in 26 states.
  • Generated $6 million in additional fee income realized through 100% placement of loans with partner institutions.
  • Developed and led strategies to link customer and employee experience for $16.9 billion organization, over 2,700 employees, 135 branches, and nine correspondent offices, aligning corporate values with strategic vision.
  • Led compensation/incentive program restructuring that tied service levels to customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Oversaw commercial client growth from 1,000 to over 20,000 during tenure with Treasury Management group through significant product offering and expansion of online banking solutions, remote deposit capture, positive pay, payroll and merchant services.
